Privacy Policy

Voctrail accesses your device's location to provide location-based audio adventures, interactive map markers, and media drops. Your location is used to center the map on you, place the voice notes, photos and videos you drop, and unlock content left by others when you are close enough to it (for example within 20–200 m).

Location is used while the app is open. It is shared with friends or family only if you turn on live location sharing or join a family circle; children in a family circle are always visible to their parent.

Voctrail võimaldab kasutajatel näha oma sõprade või pereliikmete (näiteks laste) reaalajas asukohta ja liikumist kaardil, vajutades lihtsalt nende nimele.

See funktsioon töötab AINULT siis, kui teine pool on andnud selleks selge ja teadliku loa (asukoht on jagatud vabatahtlikult). Kasutaja saab oma asukoha jagamise igal ajal rakenduse seadetest tühistada. Asukohaandmeid kasutatakse üksnes reaalajas kaardil kuvamiseks ning neid ei jagata kolmandate osapooltega.

Voctrail lets users see the real-time location and movement of their friends or family members (for example children) on the map simply by tapping their name.

This feature works ONLY when the other person has given clear and informed consent (their location is shared voluntarily). A user can cancel their location sharing at any time from the app's settings. Location data is used solely for real-time display on the map and is not shared with third parties.

When you record a drop, Voctrail uses your microphone and, if you choose, your camera. Recordings are stored securely and can only be opened by the people you choose (only you, selected friends, your family circle, or everyone) and only at the drop's location.

We store your username, display name, profile picture, chosen color, language, and optional details such as gender, along with your friends list and messages. Sign-in is handled by email or Google.

If you turn on push alerts, we store a device token so we can tell you when a friend leaves a drop for you. You can turn this off at any time in your profile.

Users under 12 can only join through a parent's family invite. Parents control their child's account and can see their location.

We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted service providers for hosting, sign-in and payments only to run the app.

You can delete your drops, turn off location sharing, online status and notifications, or ask us to delete your account and data by contacting us.
